JACK NOLAN (NEWS ANCHOR)-A healthy Fresno woman collapses and dies.  Now her friends, family want to know what caused her mysterious death.  And I’m PRICILLA KWAN- It is a mystery death that is so far stumping the coroner’s office.

JACK NOLAN- That’s right.  Linda Adanalian died suddenly several months ago, And since then the coroners office her family her husband have been searching for the reason why.  Details on this mystery - now this report from the newsroom now by Zoua Vang. Zoua.

ZOUA VANG-  Linda Adanalian was the healthy 37 year old mother of four.  Her family tells me she had no history of medical problems and that’s why her sudden death was a shock.  Ask anyone who knew Linda Adanalian and they’ll tell you her passion was her kids. She left her teaching job to become a full time mom.  Friends say almost everything she did, she did for her children.  On the night of February 11th Adanalian had taken her kids to the convention center to catch a show. They got to about here and that’s when she collapsed. A few hours later she died.

DAVID DALITION (BROTHER)- All of a sudden to suddenly die and uhh  die while being rendered excellent medical care from the Fresno Community Hospital uhh is is very very troubling for us.

ZOUA VANG- A preliminary report done by the Mayo Clinic and sent to the county says “Considering all of the currently available autopsy and historical information. It appears that death was most likely due to a cardiac disorder.”  But the Fresno County Coroners Office has not adopted this ruling.  Back in May it filed a brief saying “Ms Adanalian’s case presents the perplexing death of a young ostensibly healthy woman.”  In June the coroner had her body exhumed so that more tests could be done.  A pathologist contacted by Ms Adanalian’s family also examined the remains and disagreed with the preliminary findings of the Mayo Clinic.

DAVID DALITION- After extensively reviewing the case at this point in time he believes very strongly that a um Linda did not suffer from a, her death was not the result of a heart attack.

Adanalians husband also has hired his own pathologist.

MARK ADANALIAN (HUSBAND)-  Lot of it to was because it was taking so long and we  just wanted to know.

ZOUA VANG- Mark Adanalian says it will probably be months before his expert can come up with anything but in the meantime he’s focused on caring for his kids.

MARK ADANALIAN- The sad thing is as much as I miss her I miss her more for them. Hey I’m 46 years old and I still have my mother. Truth. There mother is gone.

ZOUA VANG- So he says while he wants to find out why his wife died that’s not a priority for him now. He prays he can continue to care for his kids. The coroners office tells me they’re waiting for some additional test results to come back from Stanford that could take a couple of weeks or months and even then there is a possibility that the cause of death can not be determined.
